- Originally documented near Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island, this specimen was first cataloged by Pacifica Exotica Spora (PES), a former mycological research organization.
- A unique hybrid strain of P. cubensis adapted to tropical climates
- Thrives in warm, humid environments with nutrient-rich soils
- Naturally occurs in pasture environments with consistent moisture
