African Transkei spore syringe specimens are native to South Africa’s Eastern Cape region, particularly the Transkei area. They have bell-shaped caps ranging from light to dark brown, with prominent central umbo and radial striations when mature. The tall, cylindrical stems show a distinctive fibrous surface texture. What makes these specimens particularly notable is their robust proportions and dense spore production compared to similar varieties.

Our spore syringe specimens arrive in a high-quality 10cc laboratory grade Luer-Lok style syringe, containing spores suspended in sterile solution. A 1-inch 16-gauge sterile needle is provided with every syringe.
