Description
Panaeolus Cyanescens Huasteca Liquid Culture
Panaeolus Cyanescens, Huasteca is a strain of psilocybin mushroom that originates from a remote area outside of Huasteca, Mexico. This is a relatively new strain that offers many genetic variables. It is a very potent magic mushroom that grows exclusively on herbivore dung and composted dung. The mushroom can be found in the wild, growing individually or in clusters. This mushroom is much smaller than its cousin Psilocybe cubensis. Its petite stem bruises an intense cyan-blue color where the flesh is injured because they contain high levels of psilocybin.
Huasteca pan cyan is one of the newest Pan Cyan strains available today. Its genetics are still highly variable and undomesticated. Anyone who is interested in isolating their own phenotypes will want to add this strain to their library.
Classification: Hallucinogenic
Substrates: Herbivore dung or composted herbivore dung
Climate: Subtropical to Tropical
Cap: Small and white to dark colored from spores landing on the top of the cap when fully open. The cap opens fully.
Stem: Petite but completely solid. Typically the stipe is smooth and straight.
Gills: Fully developing. Gills are grey when young but turn black with age due to spores.
Spores: Dark brown to black.
Psilocybin Potency: High to Extreme
Cultivation Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult
Fruiting Temperature: 78 – 85 degrees Fahrenheit
Growth
Panaeolus Cyanescens mycelium is of medium robustness, often looking furry or fluffy. It is not rhizomorphic like Psilocybe Cubensis. What it lacks in density, it makes up for in colonization times. Pan Cyan mycelium is very aggressive and colonizes fast. In liquid culture, it often forms small colonies that eventually become one. It usually sticks to the side of the container while young.
Harvesting Spores
Spore production is very good with pan cyan. The mushrooms consistently drop billions of spores per cap and are capable of making dark spore prints. The process of harvesting its spores is not only interesting but also straightforward. First, we must allow the mushroom to mature fully. This is when the cap opens up, and the spores are ready for collection. We can simply place a mature cap gill-side-down on a piece of foil, cover it with a glass, and let it sit overnight. By the next day, you’ll have a beautiful spore print.
Potency
The potency of Panaeolus Cyanescens is quite remarkable. It’s considered one of the most potent psilocybin mushrooms out there. This is due to the high concentration of psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin in it. The effects can be quite intense, even with a small dose. But remember, it’s always important to approach with caution and respect for the power of these natural substances.
Effects
The effects of these mushrooms are nothing short of extraordinary. They offer an intense psychedelic experience that, when used responsibly, can provide a profound journey of self-discovery and introspection. These effects can include:
- A heightened sense of awareness and perception
- Deep introspection and philosophical thinking
- Visual and auditory hallucinations
The intensity of these effects can vary from person to person and depend on the dosage and the individual’s tolerance. Always remember to use it responsibly and in a safe environment.
