Our Nepal, Chitwan spore syringes contain specimens collected from the subtropical Chitwan province of southern Nepal. This is the same strain that was originally discovered by John Allen. The characteristic dark purple-brown spores originate from specimens featuring golden-caramel caps 2-8cm across and sturdy whitish stems that develop bluish tones when handled. This distinctive variety was first documented in Nepal’s lowland river valleys and is known for producing dense spore deposits ideal for microscopy research.
Our spore syringe specimens arrive in a high-quality 10cc laboratory grade Luer-Lok style syringe, containing spores suspended in sterile solution. A 1-inch 16-gauge sterile needle is provided with every syringe.
